Starting as a writer can be equal parts exciting and discouraging. Learning a new craft and dealing with professional rejection can be difficult while exploring a new medium and exercising your creativity can be exciting.

Writing is difficult if you lack the necessary skills to communicate effectively or the confidence to speak your mind. 

The truth is writing can be easy for everyone. You don't need to be a grammarian or extremely proficient in English to write well.

Exploring different types of writing and finding a niche are important steps for any writer.

There are different types of writing:

1. Essays

Essays are short non-fiction pieces recounting personal experiences or offering analysis and opinion on an issue or story. It is a short piece of writing that expresses information as well as the writer's opinion. 

 2. Poetry

It is another style of writing that uses formal organisation and it's often divided up into lines or stanzas.

It's a great medium for emotionally driven writers. 

 3. Short Stories

Short stories are very great starting to be a writer. Short stories have a lower word count than traditional novels.

 4. Blogs

Blogs features posts that can be similar to essays.

A blog is a discussion or informational website published on the world wide web consisting of discrete, often informal and briefer than a traditional essayist.  

5.  Novels

Novels are a great place for you to think more deeply because you have to make plot twists and complex storylines.

 6. Audio

In these hectic days, no one has time to read books or blogs so, Audiobooks and podcasts are a very effective way to reach the audience.

There are some tips to become a better writer:

1. Choose a good topic to write

There are some different ways to generate topics and premises for your writing.

(a) Story

Starting with a good story and make an interesting main character,  is a good way to get into pieces regardless of whether it is fiction or non-fiction.

(b) personal experience

Thinking about a personal experience is an excellent way of starting a new piece of writing. As a human being your memories/experiences give you a great advantage to recall the immediate point of view and textural details that make your writing more specific.

(c) Issues 

Thinking about the attentive and divisive issue in a present society can be a great way to come up with non-fiction pieces. Think about that issue in which you have a strong point of view or opinion that can help you to make very compelling and convincing pieces.

 2.Read

    It is the most important thing to do to become a better writer. You cannot find any writer who is not a voracious reader. reading other writers work can help you discover new writing methods. Choose a good book and start building your vocabulary. Look up every word you don't understand to find its meaning and how to use it properly. Pay attention to how authors deliver their ideas and learn from their examples, it enhances your writing style.

3. Commit to a routine

   One of the most important parts of developing writing skills is simply to commit to a daily writing routine. it is a good idea to devote time to practice writing about different topics. You can start with less complicated topics, then as you progress you can increase the level of difficulty. Before you start writing about topics you might want to create an ideal flow in your mind.

4. Keep a journal

Regardless of what type of writing you are focusing on you should keep a journal to record observations from your real life that can help generate essay or story ideas. Your everyday life and experience can give you valuable formation as you think about new pieces to right.

5. Do your research

    No matter what if you are an author of a bestselling book or a new writer, to write in a better way you have to research your topic. Before starting work on a piece of creative writing do your homework and make sure you have truly researched any outside information.

6.Use online tools to check your grammar and originality

Online tools such as Grammarly and Copyscape, help you to polish your writing. Learning new things can be overwhelming because it often requires you to leave your comfort zone.
