Poem about my country India - by the writers of Peaceful Writers International

All had lost hope,

Except those brave men,

Who walked along every street determined,

Not to leave their Mother barren!

It's those martyrs,

Who gave away their precious life,

Keeping ours India foremost,

Prior than their children and wife!

It's them,

Who stood up in the society of sold men,

Coming from diverse backgrounds,

Yet working united as a whole,

To save this glorious country from every wounds...

So, let's once applause for them, as loud as we can,

As they're the ones, who encouraged the Patriotism of every man.

OUR COUNTRY AND ITS BRAVE HEARTS

The audacious and bold personality,

The strong and tough resolutions,

The right and just impartiality,

The daring and brave decisions,

Of the dauntless and courageous brave hearts of this country,

Of the valiant and fearless heroes of this country,

Who sacrificed their holy lives for our security,

For their constant love and partiality,

For their fellow people of  country,

For their motherland, India,their country.

They never looked back for their families,

But went through their own responsibilities,

They never thought of their own lives,

Nor cared whether they would die or survive,

They never felt sorry for leaving their unborn child,

May be that time they looked cruel or unkind.

Their wish was to see their motherland, free,

Where their Tiranga  would fly freely in the sky,

Where everywhere would be green,

Where the laughter of children will go up high,

Nothing to worry about their freedom,

Where the brave hearts of motherland would be there,

For the sorrow and happiness of people, to be shared,

As the bodyguards of their motherland,  Hindustan.

The brave hearts who got mixed with the earth,

Got disconnected with the happiness and mirth,

Who were killed and dispatched brutally,

But were wrapped with the Tiranga carefully.

Their motherland was safe and secure finally,

But they sacrificed their own dear lives, painfully and achingly.

With a few words on their mouth.

For them only we are living, safe and independent,

Standing erect and confident,

Living in a country with huge diversity,

Full of splendid and big cities,

The birthplace of human speech,

Where people of various standards live,

Distributed with numerous landscapes,

Where people are executing developments,

With surplus growth of crops,

In the agricultural world, it tops,

With  diverse culture and festivals spread here and there,

People live with joy and happiness, everywhere.

Where people of different cast and religions live in unity,

Inspite of the differences, each have their own uniqueness and beauty.

I am proud to call this country, my homeland,

Where people help each other, hand in hand.

I am proud to live in this country,

And let all people know about the brave hearts, culture and diversity of this wonderful country..

MY INDIA, MY PRIDE.

One of the best gifts of Almighty to me,

Was that I was born in India, which was already free,

From the threshold of slavery of British, you see,

Enjoying every instance of my life with intense glee.

India is a marvellous country with diverse cultures,

With many different people, speaking diverse languages and unlike features,

Divided into numerous states and each is having its unique traditions,

People who have different looks and accents to speak in their regions.

Though we have so many diversities,

Yet we are united together by our love for the land even in adversities,

Though we have different religions, and we hail from opposing fraternities,

Yet, we love and respect each other’s societies.

The beauty of this land is mesmerizing,

From tall mountains, seas, rivers, oceans, and plains spreading,

The soil of this land also varies from red, black, white, and yellow scattering,

From forests to deserts, snow to sand, everywhere acquiring.

Nowhere can you find so many educational universities,

Nowhere can you find so many delicious dishes,

Nowhere can you find so many extremes, from poverty to riches,

Nowhere can you find so many people loving, caring, and respecting.

I am a proud INDIAN, and I love my COUNTRY.

Indian culture-our country

Indian culture is diverse and rich,

It welcome guest as their own and many moral values it teach.

It holds diversity in unity,

Having 33 languages,28 states and eight indian territory with love and integrity.

Despite being different cultures and tradition,

celebrating Holi,Diwali,Eid,pongal,christmas,Guru parv in unison.

Himayalaya covering the head of our country,

Bounded by three oceans  to let us flourish with bounty.

We have culture of  athithi devo bhav and sarve bavantu sukhinh,

We touch feet of our elders and bow down when we touch book by feet.

We are taught to respect elders and stay with parents,

We imbibe values to help each other to excel instead of pulling each other being arrogant.

As our Geeta says,do work but don't think about it's result,

Celebrate all festivals with new clothes hugging each other spreading liveliness abrupt.

We wear sari, bindiya, kajal and wear mangalsutra to be apt as married woman,

We even do fast on karwachauth, teez for their long age.

We even fast for kids,

We raise, value our kids as precious before everything.

Even any one die,we do pind daan for salvation of their soul,

We respect even dead, bow to them and cremate them with proper rituals in all.

Although dowry and patriarchy is prevalent in our culture,

Position of female is changing with time but still lagging behind posture.

Females, wear veil infront of father in law and elders,

They will cook food for all and will not wear exposing clothes and will falter.

Although our Indian culture is amazing, although has little flaws,

It endow us to be connected together and pass it to generation to generation with lovely hues.

Our culture also teaches us patience, love, secularism and forgiveness,

It embraces every cultures and blend with all to make our culture unique, more and no less.

Our country

Our country is located in the Asian continent, surrounded by three sides of water and one side connected with land.

On the top we have Himalaya and at the bottom of the tip we have cape kumarian connected  covering more than 3500 kms.

We have diversified culture,  heritage, tradition, all religions are equally treated. We celebrate Diwali, Pongal, Dashers, Ramzan, Bakrid, and Christmas. We exchange greetings to each other on the festival occasions.

In the universe, our country is secular and law rules are common for all. All religions have the rights, each and every citizen has the voting power.

Our laws take care of the poor, below the poverty people  to get benefits from the Government.

In the world we have to be proud that our talents are phenomenal, internationally proven by us. Our highly talented people occupy big posts in western countries.

We always remember our freedom fighters, especially the Father of the nation. Through non violence we got our freedom and he  set a role model for others to follow his footsteps. The entire world always remembers him.

Our country is sanadhna land, we all believe God is in various forms. We are the only country in the world that worships nature as God, even the sun moon too daily.

In our society we still pay attention to the joint family concept, maintain it and set an example for the western countries of the core values of relationships.

In our country we have abundant natural resources especially agriculture, horticulture etc. Our Nation is in villages.

Though unscrupulous elements try their level best to divide the country, as a responsible citizen of the country we consolidate, unite,  fight and defeat their motto of dividing by way of caste and religion.

We are all under the umbrella of one nation and always maintain our sovereignty, safety, security.

At this juncture, we are all proud to be a citizen of the country, and the rest of the world have to follow our steps forever.

INDIA- A COUNTRY OF HERITAGE

From the gems hidden, India emerges as a Golden Bird,

With each corner oozing, diversity yet to be unfurled,

From Tricolour to Ashoka Chakra, every trait is surreal,

For this Bird isn't a misnomer, but a reality to be cheered.

The far valleys and grasslands, mountains and hills,

Plush villages with forests, and monuments erected to dream,

All amalgamate and blend so smoothly, colouring India,

Draped is the Goddess herself, Bharat is crowned in tiara.

The traditions and customs, from Char Minar to Taj Mahal,

Fatehpur Sikri to River Yamuna, each pearl is surreal itself,

The cuisines are epitome of taste, with spices added so apt,

India has diversified itself, into a nation with millions of facts.

It isn't just borders, but the unity which evokes sentiments,

Be it calamity or thunderstorm, the population joins hands,

Namaste to everyone here, Vasudev Kutumbakam in hearts,

Our country is a land of jewels, which embraces you with open arms.

MERA BHARAT MAHAAN

Yahan Diwali ka tyohar bhi hai, aur Christmas ki khushiyan bhi,

Eid Ka chaand bhi hai, Lohri mein sajne wali duniya bhi,

Yahan Hindi bhi hain, aur Sikh, Isai bhi,

Ye mera Bharat hai, aur iski ladai phir kisi se nahi.

Yahan abadi khoob hai, lekin ekta bhi hai,

Har disha mein, khushi ki lehar maujood hai,

Kahin baarish ho jaye, to log ek sath aa jaate,

Yahan har tarah ki riwazon ka, swagat bhi hai.

Tiranga hamari shaan hai, aur hum Bharatvaasi,

Yahan nadiyon ki bhi kahaniyan hai, aur jharnon ki bhi,

Kahin Akbar ka kila hai, to kahin Taj Mahal ki khoobsurati,

Yahan sitaron mein bhi Bharat hai, to Chandrama mein bhi.

Bhedbhaav se ladte rehte, yahan koi kami nahi,

Har mausam mein ek saath hai, yahan koi rok nahi,

Bahar ke deshvasiyon ka bhi swagat hai, aur dil se shukriya bhi,

Aakhir ye Bharat hai! Aur yahi hai yahan ki khoobi.

The love of field and coppice,

Of green and shaded lanes.

Of ordered woods and gardens

Is running in your veins,

Strong love of grey-blue distance

Brown streams and soft dim skies

I know but cannot share it,

My love is otherwise.

I love a sunburnt country,

A land of sweeping plains,

Of ragged mountain ranges,

Of droughts and flooding rains.

I love her far horizons,

I love her jewel-sea,

Her beauty and her terror -

The wide brown land for me!

A stark white ring-barked forest

All tragic to the moon,

The sapphire-misted mountains,

The hot gold hush of noon.

Green tangle of the brushes,

Where lithe lianas coil,

And orchids deck the tree-tops

And ferns the warm dark soil.

Core of my heart, my country!

Her pitiless blue sky,

When sick at heart, around us,

We see the cattle die -

But then the grey clouds gather,

And we can bless again

The drumming of an army,

The steady, soaking rain.

Core of my heart, my country!

Land of the Rainbow Gold,

For flood and fire and famine,

She pays us back threefold -

Over the thirsty paddocks,

Watch, after many days,

The filmy veil of greenness

That thickens as we gaze.

An opal-hearted country,

A wilful, lavish land -

All you who have not loved her,

You will not understand -

Though earth holds many splendours,

Wherever I may die,

I know to what brown country

My homing thoughts will fly.
